Our goal for this section of our site is to generate an active debate with many different points of view along with supporting information to foster a greater understanding of performance nutrition. While our opinion will undoubtedly be reflected in this site, we will not offer specific recommendations and we will only restrict postings that are determined to be erroneous, offensive or unsupported by available [or provided] evidence.

link Evidence shows that carbo-loading prior to exercise is less efficient than eating or drinking carbs just after exercise. The critical window is 30 to 45 minutes after exercise for maximum efficiency.
